ABOUT
Jennifer W Balinsky-Armini received her Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from Northwestern University and her MA and BA from the University of Chicago. She currently serves as the Associate Dean for Program Evaluation in the College of Social Work and taught classes at the School of Education as well as the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Pittsburgh from 2001 to present. She has published articles and book chapters on parenting, mother-child attachment, and family therapy process and outcome. Her current research focuses on new approaches to foster parent selection, training, and retention. She has been married for over 20 years and has a teenage son.read less
