Elena C. Parent graduated from Emory University with a bachelor’s degree in 1995 and a law degree in 1998. She worked as an attorney before running for office. In 2010, Parent won election to the Georgia State Senate. She serves on the Reapportionment and Redistricting Committee as well as the Special Judiciary Committee.
