Yadira Caraveo is a pediatrician and medical policy expert. Born and raised in Colorado, Dr. Caraveo earned her medical degree at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. After completing her residency at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, she returned home to practice in the Denver Metro Area, where she has cared for thousands of children and families. A leader on health care policy, Dr. Caraveo has served on the Board of Directors of Doctors for America, physicians who educate and advocate for improved health care systems. Since 2016 she has been an elected member of the Adams County School District 14 Board of Education.read less
