Task Force on Fentanyl and Heroin Enforcement established. Creates the Task Force on Fentanyl and Heroin Enforcement whose purpose is to study ways to enhance the ability of law-enforcement officers throughout the Commonwealth to combat the illegal manufacturing, importation, and distribution of fentanyl, heroin, and other similar controlled substances. The bill requires the Task Force to meet at least annually and to report to the Governor and General Assembly by December 1 of each year regarding its activities and any recommendations. ABOUT
Todd E. Pillion is a Republican member of the Virginia House of Delegates, representing District 4. He assumed office on January 11, 2017. Pillion was an Air Force officer for over 20 years. He attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel before retiring from active duty. He received a bachelor's in economics and management from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1991 as well as an MBA in finance from Golden Gate University in 1998. Pillion owns a financial advisory firm.
