Susan R. Donovan was born in Middletown, Connecticut. She received her B.A. degree in English from Central Connecticut State College in 1970. She was Director of Social Services at Apple Rehabilitation in Avon for over 20 years. Mrs. Donovan has been active with the Connecticut Women’s Education and Legal Fund and served as President of the League of Women Voters of Greater Hartford. She has also served on the Board of Regents of Higher Education.read less
