Nicholas J. Lalota is running as a Republican candidate for the New York State Assembly District 18. Prior to running for office, Lalota worked as an attorney. He graduated from St. John's University with a degree in political science and went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Touro College. Lalota is a member of the New York State Bar Association. He previously served on Community Board 11 in the borough of Queens in New York City. If elected, some of Lalota's top issues are lowering taxes, supporting law enforcement, and improving infrastructure.read less
