Michael Tipping serves as a State Senator for Maine's District 11. He was first elected to the chamber in 2012 after serving four years in the State House. Sen. Tipping serves on the Natural Resources Committee as well as the Ethics Committee. Prior to that, Sen. Tipping ran his own consulting business and served as the spokesman for the Speak Out Maine Campaign and the consulting firm Winning Campaigns. He also previously served as the Political Director for the Maine People's Alliance and Maine's Working Families Party. Sen. Tipping attended the University of Southern Maine and has two children.
