Mark K. Tullos was elected to serve District 5 in the Mississippi State Senate in 2011. A former high school teacher, Tullos served in the Mississippi House of Representatives from 1992 to 1999. During his eight years as a State Representative, Tullos played an instrumental role in securing Medicaid funding for the Lincoln County Medical Center as well as crafting legislation to fund K-12 education. He and his wife Linda live in Raleigh. They are members of Wade Baptist Church.read less
