Gayle B. Harrell was born in Stuart, Florida. She earned her B.A. degree in Psychology from Florida State University in 1972. Harrell was elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2008 and served there until 2016. In 2016, Harrell was elected to the Florida State Senate representing District 25. She currently serves on several committees including Appropriations, Finance and Tax, Health Policy, and Joint Legislative Auditing.read less
