Frank Pallone Jr. was born on October 30, 1951 in Long Branch, New Jersey. He earned his B.A. from Middlebury College in 1973 and his M.A. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University in 1977. Pallone worked as an aide to the New Jersey State Senate Majority Leader before being elected to the Long Branch city council in 1982. In 1983, he was elected to the state Senate, where he served until 1988. That year, Pallone was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, where he has served since. He represents New Jersey's 6th Congressional District.read less
