David M. Rogers is a Republican member of the U.S. House, representing Alabama's 3rd Congressional District. He assumed office on January 3, 2003. Rogers serves on the Appropriations, Agriculture, and Rules Committees. He previously served as Senior Deputy Majority Whip from 2005-2007. Prior to his election, Rogers practiced law. He serves on the board of the Anniston Museum of Natural History and the Community Foundation of Northeast Alabama. Rogers graduated from the University of Alabama and the University of Alabama School of Law. He and his wife, Beth, have three children.read less
