ABOUT
Catherine A. Osten was born in Norwich, CT. She graduated from Norwich Free Academy in 1978. Osten served as the First Selectwoman of Sprague from 2005 to 2011. She became a member of the Connecticut state House of Representatives in 2011, representing the 19th district. She served in the House until 2019. In 2019, Osten began serving in the Connecticut State Senate representing the 19th district, which covers parts of eastern Connecticut. She currently serves on several committees including Appropriations, Commerce, Education, Finance Revenue & Bonding, and Public Health.read less
