Bruce W. Bannister was born and raised in Western Michigan. After high school, Bruce attended Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan graduating with a degree in Civil Engineering. After college, Bruce moved back to West Michigan and founded his own engineering consulting business which he operated for 28 years prior to being elected to the State House. Bruce lives in Lucus with his wife Kim where together they raised their three children.read less
