Requires ODE to find a common way for employees at a school to record an injury. (Flesch Readability Score: 68.9). [Digest: Expands the uses for a fund that is used to pay for the high costs of special education. Establishes a group to help schools to bill Medicaid. Lists the laws that a recovery school must follow. (Flesch Readability Score: 74.8).] [Authorizes moneys in the High Cost Disabilities Account to be distributed to school districts that have a community impact that causes disproportionately high costs associated with the provision of special education and related services.] [Establishes the School Medicaid Technical Advisory Committee. Establishes the duties and membership of the committee.] [Modifies the statutes and rules that are applicable to approved recovery schools.] [Takes effect on July 1, 2024.] Directs the Department of Education to develop and implement a standardized method to be used by school districts and education service districts to record school workplace safety incidents. Requires the department to convene an advisory committee to assist in the development of the standardized method and to develop and ensure compliance with a training and implementation plan for the standardized method.
