Ya Liu immigrated to America from Taiwan as a young child. She became the first Asian American woman elected to the Pennsylvania House in 2018. Ya represents a diverse district in the Philadelphia area. Prior to running for office, Ya was an executive at SEPTA. She helped improve services and clean up toxic contamination.read less
