William P. Soules is a Democratic member of the New Mexico State Senate, representing District 37. He was first elected to the chamber in 2012. He currently serves as Chairman of the Senate Rules Committee. Sen. Soules earned his B.A. in English and Journalism from Stanford University in 1980. His professional experience includes working as a high school teacher and assistant principal. He has also worked as a small business owner.read less
