Will G. Carpenter is from Houston, Texas. He received his bachelor's degree in political science from Texas A&M University and his law degree from South Texas College of Law. After law school, Carpenter worked in private practice before serving as an Assistant District Attorney for Harris County. He was later appointed to serve as Judge of the 11th Judicial District Court. During his time on the bench, Carpenter presided over civil, family and criminal law matters.
