Wiley Nickel is currently serving in the North Carolina State Senate representing parts of Cary and Wake County. He was elected to the State Senate in 2018. Prior to being elected, Wiley was an Obama Administration Political Appointee in the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Wiley grew up in Cary and is a graduate of the UNC School of Law. He began his career as a bankruptcy attorney at Poyner Spruill LLP. He lives in Cary with his wife and three young children.read less
