Webster T. Roth was born in Lufkin, Texas. He holds a degree from Southern Methodist University. He served in the U.S. Navy Reserve from 1968 to 1974. Roth founded his own real estate investment company and is involved in peanut production. Roth has served in the Michigan State House for 22 years chairing committees on tourism and energy. He has also been an advocate for protecting public education funding. Roth was elected to the Michigan Senate in 2019 representing the 27th District.read less
