Vincent J. Hughes graduated from St. Joseph's University with a B.A. degree; Temple University with a M.B.A., and University of Pennsylvania Law School with a J.D. degree. He served in the State Senate from 1994 to 2010. While in the Senate, Hughes worked to increase access to quality, affordable health care for working families. He also worked to stabilize urban neighborhoods and make cities safer. In 2010, Hughes was elected to the State House, where he continues working on issues such as public education, economic development, improved public transit, sensible environmental safeguards, and quality, affordable health care.read less
