Troy Hebert is the commissioner of the Louisiana Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control. Originally from Louisiana, Hebert graduated from Northeast Louisiana University. He worked for the Louisiana State Police for over 20 years, serving as the assistant superintendent over the Bureau of Investigations before retiring from that position in 2010. Hebert was appointed commissioner in November 2010 by former Governor Bobby Jindal. As commissioner, Hebert oversees the regulation, sales and distribution of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products in Louisiana.read less
