Troy D. Romero was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He graduated from Saint Pius X High School before earning a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from New Mexico State University in 2005. In 2014, Romero was elected to the New Mexico House of Representatives to represent District 10.
