Timi Brown-Powers is from New Haven, Connecticut. She earned her B.A. in Political Science and African American Studies from Yale University in 2002. She later received her law degree from Harvard Law School in 2009. After law school, Brown-Powers worked as an associate attorney at two Connecticut law firms before opening her own practice. She serves on several local boards and commissions focused on community development, education, youth programs, and economic empowerment.read less
