Thuy C. Tran was born in Saigon, Vietnam. In 1975, she escaped the collapse of South Vietnam and came to America as a refugee. She earned degrees in economics and accounting before starting her own CPA firm. Tran serves on various nonprofit boards and has received awards recognizing her dedication to public service. She is focused on ensuring economic opportunities are available for all residents and that quality education is accessible for every child.read less
