Thomas M. Bennett was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and moved to Colorado in 1973. He has served on the Board of County Commissioners in San Miguel County since 2017. Bennett graduated from Fairview High School in Boulder, Colorado. He attended Mesa State College in Grand Junction.
