Terry G. Kilgore was raised on a dairy farm. He's been a practicing attorney since 1986, served as a guardian ad litem in juvenile court and commonwealth's attorney. Kilgore was elected to the House in 1993. He serves on the Commerce and Labor; Counties, Cities and Towns; and Rules Committees, is past chair of Militia, Police and Public Safety. He's chairman of the House Finance Committee and a member of the Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission and the Virginia Coal and Energy Commission.read less
