Tandy Darby is from Florence, Alabama. He received his bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of North Alabama in 1991. After college, Darby started his own real estate company called Darby Real Estate. He later expanded into property management and land development. In 2018, Darby won election to the Alabama House of Representatives to represent District 3.
