Sylleste H. Davis was born in Cleveland, Ohio. She attended Cleveland public schools through the 8th grade before moving to California where she graduated high school. Sylleste received her Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Georgia. She worked as a dental hygienist for over 20 years in California. In 2016, Sylleste founded a small business consulting firm focused on helping entrepreneurs. She also serves on several nonprofit boards supporting youth, education, and economic empowerment.read less
