Susan L. Moran is running as a Democratic candidate for District 1, Maine House of Representatives. Moran is a retired teacher who taught English and history. Moran serves on the Board of Selectmen in Falmouth. She is a former Chair and current board member of the Falmouth Land Trust and past board member of the Falmouth Memorial Library and Coastal Studies for Girls. Moran earned her B.A. in English from Connecticut College. She later earned her Master's degree in English from the Bread Loaf School of English at Middlebury College. Moran and her husband Peter have lived in Falmouth since 1986 where they raised their two children.read less
