Strom Peterson, born in Iowa, moved to Washington in 1992. He attended the University of Washington, earning his B.A. in political science before earning his Masters in Teaching from Seattle University. After completing his degree, Strom began his career teaching sixth grade social studies. He taught in the Edmonds School District for over 17 years. During his teaching career, Strom served in leadership positions with the Edmonds Education Association, advocating for students and working to make schools better places for teaching and learning.read less
