Steven T. Bogert is a former banker, political consultant, and owner of a business that builds high-end homes. Bogert studied finance at Iowa State University. He then worked for several years as a commercial banker before starting a political consulting firm. In 2002, Bogert founded a construction company that focuses on building custom homes. Bogert previously served on the West Des Moines City Council.
