Steve B. Montenegro was born in El Salvador. His family immigrated to the U.S. when he was a child. He was elected to the AZ House in 2008. He currently serves on several committees including Appropriations, Rules, Natural Resources & Public Safety. He also serves as Majority Whip. Prior to being elected, he hosted a radio talk show & served as the Director of Latino Ministry for the AZ Southern Baptist Convention. Steve holds a Bachelors degree in Biblical Studies.read less
