Stephen W. Moriarty's political career began when he was elected to represent House District 112 in the Maine House of Representatives in 2012. He was re-elected in 2014 and 2016. Moriarty serves on the Appropriations Committee, Ethics Committee, and Institute for Global Ethics Committee. Prior to becoming a state representative, Moriarty served on the Cumberland Town Council from 2007 to 2012. He has also served on various town committees and boards in Cumberland. Moriarty has a background as an attorney and small business owner. He earned his undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College and his law degree from the University of Maine School of Law.read less
