Stephanie McKenzie Foster is running for Texas State House District 10. She was born in Houston, Texas. Foster graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in political science. She later received her law degree from South Texas College of Law. After law school, Foster worked at the Harris County District Attorney's Office as an assistant district attorney. Foster is active in her community. She serves on the Waller County Child Welfare Board. She also volunteers with Impact a Hero, Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star, and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. If elected, Foster says she will work to fully fund public education, expand healthcare coverage, and promote job growth.read less
