Sheree Sample-Hughes was elected to represent District 37 in the Maryland House of Delegates in 2014. She serves on the Appropriations Committee as well as its Public Safety & Administration Subcommittee, Capital Budget Subcommittee, and Oversight Committee on Pensions. Prior to her election, Sample-Hughes served as the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs & Enrollment Management at Salisbury University. She also served for a number of years as the Executive Director of Julia A. Purnell Museum at Salisbury University. Sample-Hughes holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Education degree from Salisbury University.read less
