Shannon D. Pinto is a member of the North Carolina State Senate representing District 8. Senator Pinto was appointed to the North Carolina State Senate by Governor Roy Cooper in January 2023 to fill the vacant seat. Prior to her service in the state senate, Pinto served four terms in the North Carolina House of Representatives, representing Robeson County.
