Sandra O. O'Brien raised in New York, New York where she attended St. Brendan's School. She became a public servant and Catholic school educator in Massachusetts. She was elected to the Massachusetts House of Representatives in 2010 and was re-elected subsequently in 2012, 2014, and 2016. Ms O'Brien volunteers with the Alzheimer’s Association of Massachusetts as a member of the Government Affairs Committee and has brought attention to legislation and funding around dementia research. She helped establish a Holocaust Memorial Committee in Massachusetts that honors survivors and liberators while also educating the public about this dark period in human history.read less
