Samra Brouk is a Democrat serving her first term as State Senator for the 55th District in New York. Brouk immigrated to the United States from Lebanon when she was four years old. Her district includes the towns of Mendon, Rush, Wheatland, Pittsford, Perinton, Henrietta and parts of the City of Rochester located in Monroe County. Brouk serves on the following committees: Banks, Consumer Protection, Mental Health & Developmental Disabilities,Local Government, Social Services, and Races & Ethnicity.
