Sam C. Mims was born in West Plains, Missouri. He received his B.S. degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1975. He served in the U.S. Army and Missouri National Guard. Mims is a cattleman. He owns and operates Mims Limousin Farm and Ranch. He also served on the Dent County Development Corporation Board, the Dent County Health Board, Dent County Farm Bureau Board, and Board of the Missouri Limousin Association.read less
