Russell J. Black is running as a Republican for Indiana State Senate District 36. Black graduated from Purdue University in 2005 with a degree in Building Construction Management. After college, he started his own home improvement company that specializes in roofing, siding, windows, kitchens and bathrooms. Black serves on the board of directors for Honey Lake Home Owners Association and Fishers Youth Assistance Program. He also coaches youth sports and volunteers at his church.
