Rosemarie Rung was born and raised in McHenry County. She earned her bachelor's degree from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Rung moved to Hoffman Estates with her husband in 1992. She served on the village’s Plan Commission. Rung also founded a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) charitable foundation providing financial support to veterans and other charitable organizations.read less
