Ronald M. Winterton was born in South Lyon, Michigan. He received his education at the University of Michigan, earning a Bachelor of Arts in 1977. Winterton was elected as a Republican to the Michigan House of Representatives in 2004, representing District 37. He went on to serve four terms in the state legislature before being term-limited in 2016. Some of his committee assignments included Appropriations, Education, and Regulatory Reform.read less
