Ronald B. Russell was born in Altoona, PA. He attended Penn State University where he received a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1967. After graduation, Ronald served in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Independence aircraft carrier off the coast of Vietnam during the Vietnam War. After being honorably discharged from the Navy, Ronald began working at Bethlehem Steel Corporation's Steelton plant. He retired from Bethlehem Steel in 1999 after over 30 years of service. Ronald continues to be an active member of the community through various local organizations.read less
