Ron M. Gant is a Republican member of the Louisiana House of Representatives, representing District 10. Prior to joining the legislature, Gant worked as a consultant and as an educator. He previously served on the Jefferson Parish Council from 1996 to 2020. Gant graduated from Louisiana State University with a bachelor's degree in communications and earned a Master of Education degree from the University of New Orleans. He has served on the boards of local organizations focused on economic development, infrastructure, and education. Gant and his wife, Gina, have three children.read less
