Rodneyse Bichotte Hermelyn is the Assemblywoman for District 42. She is running as a Democratic candidate for New York State Assembly District 42. Ms. Bichotte Hermelyn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Stony Brook University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. Ms. Bichotte Hermelyn has served as the 42nd District Leader for the New York State Democratic Party from 2010 to 2016 and is a current Trustee and former Chair of the board for the 15th Senatorial District.
