Robert Theodore Davis is a taxpayer, educator, and public servant who believes our government should serve the people, not special interests. After receiving bachelor's and master's degrees, he taught history, government and economics for over 20 years. In 2012, upset with Congress' dysfunction, Davis ran for U.S. House to give voters a real choice. Though his grassroots campaign fell short, Davis continues advocating electoral reforms so citizens regain confidence in government. Davis knows our freedom depends on transparency and accountability. Government exists to serve citizens by solving problems, not consolidating power or advancing personal interests contrary to the public good.
