Robert Stivers is the President of the Kentucky State Senate. He previously served in the Kentucky House of Representatives from 1997 to 2000. Stivers has a background in banking and real estate. Stivers served on the Kentucky Bankers Association Board of Directors from 1989 to 1997. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Somerset Pulaski County Development Foundation. Stivers graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor's degree in economics and political science.read less
