Robert L. Allain is from Maine. He attended the University of Maine and earned his B.A. in financial economics in 1991. Prior to his election, Allain was a small business owner. He served on the board of Habitat for Humanity in his local community. He also volunteered in various youth programs including local Boys and Girls Clubs.
