Robert G. Ortt is a Republican member of the New York State Senate, representing District 62. Senator Ortt was elected to the chamber in 2014. He has sponsored 94 bills in his career, 55% of which made it out of committee and 29 became law. Prior to joining the state Senate, Ortt served as Mayor of North Tonawanda from 2008 to 2014. He also served on the North Tonawanda Common Council. Ortt earned his B.S. in Business Administration from St. Bonaventure University in 1993.
