ABOUT
Robert C. Sanchez is the Mayor of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He previously served on the Bernalillo County Commission from 2009-2017. Sanchez was born and raised in Albuquerque's North Valley. He attended public schools in the city before graduating from St. Pius X High School. Sanchez earned a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of New Mexico and a law degree from the University of New Mexico School of Law. After law school, Sanchez worked as a public defender. In 2005, he joined the law firm of Chavez & Sanchez LLP where he worked until taking office as County Commissioner.read less
